The newly launched Digital Licence App in Queensland has been downloaded by 100,000 users, along with the Digital Licence Verifier app by 80,000 businesses.
Queensland now offers a digital driver's licence, available to all eligible users via an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app allows storage of Queensland Government-issued photo IDs and marine licences. Although primarily accepted within Queensland, it meets the ISO standard for mobile driver's licences.
