Queensland reduces Learner Licence Fee

Queensland drops Learner Licence cost to just $75

Queensland has just reduced the cost of purchasing a leaner licence by more than 50%, saving $111.55 for new drivers.

From 1 March 2023, the new fee will come into effect, and will be issued for a period of 3 years. This reduction brings the fee closer to other states and territories, but remains more expensive than all other states and territories with exception to Western Australia.

“When you get your learner licence, it’s valid for three years to allow enough time to complete your supervised driving experience hours, pass your hazard perception test and undertake your practical driving test. Drive safely!” said, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.
