Peugeot, the brand which seems to have quite the following here in Australia. However, with a few exceptions, there hasn’t been what feels like to be an entirely new model land in Australia to renew interest.
However, according to Peugeot Australia, the new Peugeot 108 is being considered for the Australian market.
With a fresh take on the compact hatch, the Peugeot 108 looks to be wanting to encourage personalisation. Whether this is controlling if it is a hatchback or convertible, interior ambience, number of doors and even colours.
It also has some deep connections to the drivers’ smartphone with a large touch screen and the Mirror Screen function. It also has a range of 3-cylinder engines bringing some apparently awesome fuel economy.
To act as the entry level model for the brand, do you think this could attract a whole new set of buyers? For us, the design and level of personalisation alone available makes this really appealing and hopeful that we will see this on the roads in Aus.
