Weighing up to 165kg’s than the previous Wagon, and bringing more than 100 litres more of cargo space the Golf Wagon seems to be fuelling the fire that is the small car crusade against larger cars; especially with its reduced entry level pricing.

Starting from $25,540 for the entry Golf 90 TSI with 7 Speed DSG and 90kW of power/200Nm of torque, brings some serious competition against non-European manufacturers. Boasting all of the new technologies and benefits from the Golf Hatch, you might just be compelled to steer away that Mazda 3, Holden Cruze or Ford Focus.
