To better cope with the fact that most of us will never own a Ferrari F40, Lego has revealed their latest creation – the Lego Ferrari F40 10248.

Now, before you think “Lego is just for kids”, the 1158 pieces in the kit and the recommended age of 14+ suggests that this one is best left for the big kids.

For a Lego kit, the Ferrari F40 packs in a heap of detail including a hood that opens and closes up front, pop-up headlights, and a rear gate that opens to reveal the great looking twin turbo charged V8.

Best of all, the engine can even be removed to see all the detail that has been included in the models up close.

The Lego Ferrari F40 10248 will be available on the Australian Lego store in August, with VIP Lego members being able to order it from July. The Australian RRP is $129.99 as seen on the listing here.

So will you be purchasing this great looking model?
