What is big, loud and brutally fast for a big sports coupe? It’s the new Audi RS 7 Sportback for sure.

Powered by a 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 that develops 412kW of power and 700Nm of torque, the Audi RS 7 Sportback isn’t just all about show in that low slung body.

Made to complement its sibling, the awesome RS 6 Avant. This car is for the design conscious – not wanting to discount RS 6 owners, but this just looks better.

Coming in at a mild $238,500, unfortunately it won’t be on the shopping lists of regular punters but for those who can, it will propel its occupants from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds. Pretty quick huh? It also isn’t as thirsty on fuel as you think with a 9.8 litres per 100km average.

The top end RS models have always seemed to have spent more time in the shadows of the likes of the M6 Gran Coupe, but this could very much change. This RS looks and feels grittier and we love it.
