So we got word today that Subaru has been able to negotiate an extra 140 vehicles in addition to the initial 201 sold earlier this year. This means being able to delivering vehicles to customers who missed out on the initial shipment will be getting sooner than expected delivery dates.

Nick Senior, Managing Director of Subaru Australia said: “We’re delighted that Fuji Heavy Industries has recognised the enormous demand for BRZ in Australia and allocated additional production.”

The BRZ for Subaru has been that of a great success like Toyota with their 86, though Subaru did something unique by selling the vehicles exclusively online. Before the extra allocation was announced customer orders had been back up all the way through to November 2013.

So that’s awesome news for customers who had considerably long waits and now that those dates have been pushed forwards, if you were considering a BRZ will you make the jump now?
