The C63 AMG just got more insane as the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 pricing was announced today. The C63 AMG has been a car which has been a great success and competitor to the dominating BMW M3. It seems that Mercedes wasn’t satisfied with just the regular output of the C63 AMG and decided to create the ‘Edition 507’ upping power output and insanity by a factor of heaps.
Pricing wise the ‘Edition 507’ starts at $169,407 for the Saloon, $171,407 for the Estate and $172,407 for the Coupe’. FYI these prices don’t include on-road costs and dealer delivery that information can be found out with a call to your local dealer.
The ‘Edition 507’, for those who aren’t as sharp as they wish, represents the power output of the special edition which of course is 507 horsepower or 373kW. The new 0-100km/h time is 4.2seconds for the Saloon and Coupe’ models and 4.3seconds for the Estate (aka the family wagon). The standard C63 AMG producing 336kW of power is now 0.2 slower and those with the 358kW performance package is now 0.1 slower.
When out on the road, if you purchase an ‘Edition 507’, you’ll be differentiated by a number of ‘exclusive’ design features. Firstly you’ll have the bonnet from the C 63 AMG Coupe’ Black Series, darkened styling and 19” AMG light-alloy wheels.
If you are wanting to make the jump and order a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG ‘Edition 507’ the car will be on sale from September 2013.
