Holden has confirmed that they will be adding to their SUV portfolio by including an all-new small SUV called the Holden Trax. This new small SUV will fit five passengers and plenty of space for that weekend getaway with the family.

The launch of the Trax will be an important entry for Holden into the quickly growing small SUV market which according to John Elsworth (Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales) has grown 57.3 per cent.

The new vehicle will provide what we have become to expect from Holden’s new vehicles including good fuel economy, advanced safety features as well as car-like handling.

In September this year, we’ll get a sneak peak of the Chevrolet version of the Trax which will debut at the Paris Motor Show. However we may see a glimpse of the Trax in Australia leading up to the reveal as Holden engineers are working with GM to develop parts of the vehicle locally for the global program.

So stay tuned for further coverage as details make their way!
