The Holden Colorado which just hit showroom floors has become the latest of the Holden range to score a five star safety rating from ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program).

The new Colorado has made waves and the safety features which are paired with the vehicle have propelled it into being the top consideration for safety conscious buyers. Included is Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS Brakes with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), driver and passenger airbags and curtain airbags as standard.

Not only do the electronics enable this vehicle to achieve the five star rating but the frame and body structure made from high strength steel has delivered better accident avoidance capabilities as well as greater protection for all occupants.

With sales of the Crew Cab Colorado making up 80% of all Colorado sales it’s great to see this rating being awarded.
