Coming totally unexpectedly, Holden and Disney have joined forces in Australia and New Zealand with a multi-year promotional license agreement to promote the Star Wars franchise.
With Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming at the end of the year, we’re extremely excited to see what comes out of this deal. We’d even be happy to join the product ideas team. Who WOULDN’T want a Darth Vader SS V Redline special edition?
We already have the tagline: Come join the dark side. *V8 revs and rumbles in the background*
Or a Storm Trooper styled Astra VXR?
We’ll leave the ideas there for now.
It seems we aren’t the only ones excited. Holden’s Executive Director of Marketing from The Indexer and Customer Experience, Geraldine Davys, said the announcement was an exciting collaboration the presented unlimited opportunities and potential.
UNLIMTIED OPPORTUNITIES AND POTENTIAL? Great things, of you, we expect.
It seems like special products aren’t the only thing that might be coming from the new partnership, with Davys saying:
“We’ll have a number of innovative and engaging activations coming to Australia and New Zealand and our [customers] should be prepared to expect the unexpected.”
