Guess what! Yes, that’s right. We got an early hands on with the upcoming game for the very successful franchise of Forza at the TechEd Australia conference.
Forza Horizon is a off shoot from the full on Forza games as it is essentially taking Forza 4 with a few visual tweaks and bringing a whole bunch of new game modes and environments.
Instead of racing on some of the worlds most well known race tracks, you’ll be racing on public roads and dodging traffic along the way. Being a big Forza fan myself, I didn’t hesitate in jumping into the game and wanting to see what Forza Horizon had to offer.
The game itself feels a lot more like an arcade racer….with a simulation heritage, which is great. You do get points for being destructive as well as being a smart racing driver. So this will please both sides of the party, especially with the seductive list of vehicles to choose from.
Despite only having a single car to race in for the one challenge, I was hooked. Whilst I won’t stop playing Forza 4, I can see myself when this launches, online with my friends burning up the road!
