Over in Germany and a handful of other European markets have received their first BMW i3 electric vehicles and even had them delivered to customers.
This is a big step for BMW who has been developing the BMW i brand and its i3 and i8 for what seems a very long time.
Back in July, the team from Daily Auto Fix got to experience the BMW 1 Series Active E which acted as a pubic test program for the i3. Learning how customers in a real world situation will use an electric vehicle including distances travelled and charging frequencies.
We thoroughly enjoyed the brief experience around Munich and it finally got us genuinely excited for the launch of the i3 in Australia.
Unfortunately, despite the BMW i3 being available in Europe, Australians will have to wait until later next year to receive our first shipments.
