So just a matter of minutes ago Lamborghini unveiled their latest model the roofless Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster.
With an acceleration of 3.0seconds and a top speed of 350km/h this drop top will have no trouble in making the experience of driving a legendary supercar like this even more fun. Paired with the 700hp V12 is 7-speed gearbox with push-rod suspension. Which means that performance is unchanged from the regular Aventador.
The roadster has been carefully designed, and such slightly varies compared to the coupe, with two pairs of hexagonal windows. They look badass and they serve a purpose of making sure rain water runs off properly and of course. So the V12 can be admired in all its glory.
The roof for the roadster is in two-pieces, and is made out of carbon fibre. This makes for some pretty big weight savings. Though…the roof must be removed by hand and despite being said to be a fairly simple thing to do it does make it harder than it really should be. You can store it in the front luggage compartment however, which is nice in those times where the weather can turn on you pretty rapidly.
The exterior isn’t the only thing either to get an update. The interior has a brand new leather being used from Sant’ Agata Bolognese (for those who care), which hopefully helps in reassuring the owners that the purchase price is justified.
At the moment we don’t have any pricing, availability or anything else at the moment. Though we think we’d be safe to say that it will be available early-mid next year with a price tag just above that of the coupe. Until then, admire the pictures below.
