The Ulster Grand Prix is the world’s fastest road race and haves you on the edge of your seat seeing motorbike riders hit 200MPH or 320km/h! Sometimes we only dream of closing down the roads, and going hell for leather but we’ll never, ever be able to do it like these guys.

I can sense the riders during their morning ritual say to themselves: “I’ve got the need. The need for speed.”

The video below isn’t anything official, but merely a compilation from the 2012 race combination lap footage and coverage. The footage is almost reminiscent of what the classic days of Formula One were like. Insane bumper to bumper racing, death defying overtakes and pure skill.

If you don’t know anything about the Ulster Grand Prix, according to the official website, the race dates back to 1922 and promoted by the Ulster Motor Cycle Club. Held just West of Belfast, Northern Ireland it used to attract over 100,000 spectators. Though it doesn’t quite attract those numbers now, its online reach goes far beyond just 100,000 people. Especially when you see footage like below.

Enough talking, more watching. Enjoy and tell us if you would ever be game to give it a crack!
