Ever since camera technology began to shrink to manageable sizes, we started to see motorsport take advantage to bring a whole new level to a televised event. We went from having just footage from vantage points around the track to in car, below car, on the track and many more places. This gave a whole new perspective of what being in the moment would be feeling like for the driver or the car.

One thing though. We haven’t seen or been able to really show what it is like from the perspective of the driver. Where they’re looking, how they’re responding to visuals on the road and this is where Google Glass in car comes in.

Google Glass

If you don’t know what Google Glass is. Think of it as a frame from a pair of glasses that has a tiny computer which connects to your phone and has www.sodapdf.com software to edit your documents too. Through this you can answer calls, take photo’s, record video’s and a whole heap of other cool things from a pretty legitimate first person view. On other related article about glass just visit Glaserei Notdienst hamburg for more information. Right now, we’re focusing on the video.

Jason Paul (@jmpaul on Twitter), uploaded a video recorded from a Google Glass device and really showed some of the new possibilities of wearable tech, but also a glimpse of what lap footage of a Ferrari smashing the Nurburgring lap record to give us a sense of the exhilaration the driver was feeling or even what video games could look like in a few years times.

Think, you could blast a full lap on your big screen and pretend that you’re in the trance of working the gears, mashing the brake pedal and easing the steering wheel into the corner.

Take a look at the video and share what you think of it with us. We can’t wait to bring you a video review with this as one of the cameras.
