In 2015, Seven will broadcast the Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race in its entirety across its 7mate and main 7 channels.

Following an awesome race and crowd attendance at the 2014 Bathurst 12 Hour, we are very excited to see this local endurance race to get the coverage it so very much deserves.

To make the partnership work seamlessly, the race start time will be moved from its traditional 6am start to a 5:55am start. This has been done so that the race won’t overlap the news at 6pm.

Even though Seven won’t have the rights to broadcast the V8 Supercars in 2015, the full coverage of the 12 hour is welcomed branching of their usual motorsport coverage. It’s also a great improvement over the SBS coverage we saw in 2014 with just the final three hours being broadcast.

With an ever increasing audience online, we hope to see the live stream on the internet be continued in 2015.

We plan on being in Bathurst for the 2015 Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race, and we can’t wait to see another actioned packed weekend!
